Here is a listing of hydrogen-powered
cars currently available:
Anuvu Incorporated
Anuvu Incorporated, a California company formed in 1994, specializes
in the development of 1.5 kW, 3 kW, 6 kW and 12 kW fuel cell stacks,
fuel cell engines, Clean Urban Vehicles, and marine engines.
Anuvu is positioned to significantly reduce the manufacturing cost
of fuel cell stacks, thus providing an economically viable, zero
emission option to the internal combustion engine.
Anuvu is ready to meet fleet orders for zero-emission fuel-cell
hybrid vehicles. Their vehicles, which consist of trucks such as
the Nissan Frontier, cargo vans and city buses, all ideal for fleet
use, are run on compressed hydrogen with a 250 mile in town range
and top speed of 75 mph. Anuvu is also prepared to provide whatever
part of the fuel cell technology a company might require including
design and development of fuel cell/battery hybrid engines for a
variety of vehicles.

Drive the Revolution
The Hydrogen Car Company (HCC) produces hydrogen internal combustion
engine vehicles that deliver critical energy security, public health,
and environmental benefits and allow the customer to "Drive
the Revolution." HCC's vehicles are based on the highly developed,
one-hundred-year-old internal combustion engine. Common automotive
platforms are configured either as basic fleet vehicles, standard
personal vehicles, or uniquely personalized high-performance vehicles
and have all of the power and drivability of their gasoline-powered
counterparts. The Ford Ranger pick-up and Ford Explorer and Lincoln
Aviator SUVs are immediately available to fleets and individual consumers.
This summer HCC will add to its line the Ford F-150 pick up and Ford
Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. HCC also offers a line of
high-performance hydrogen Shelby vehicles, including the Hydrogen
Shelby Cobra, for which they currently have a waiting list, and the
Hydrogen Series 1, which will be available in the late summer/early
fall.
All of HCC's vehicles run on compressed hydrogen. HCC works with
the customer to match the tank configuration, and thus the range,
to their individual needs. Typically HCC's trucks and SUVs can travel
150 to 180 miles per fill and the range of the hydrogen Shelby vehicles
is 80 to 100 miles. The vehicles perform similarly to their gasoline
counterparts. The Hydrogen Shelby Cobra, for example, has a maximum
speed of 140 MPH, goes from 0 to 60 in four seconds, and has a 12
second quarter mile performance. Vehicle prices, other than the hydrogen
Shelby Cobra and Series 1, range in price from $35,000 to $80,000.

California Motors
California Motors specializes in hybrid electric powertrains for
a wide range of vehicles which use both hydrogen stations and the
State's existing network of electric vehicle charging stations. Their
vehicles can fill up at any electric charging station throughout
the State AND at compressed hydrogen fueling stations, giving them
a range of 100-250 miles. This dual fuel approach means that, no
matter where you go, there will be a place to fill up and a practical
means to improve our environment. California Motors' currently available
vehicles consist of the H2 Hummer Evergreen, the Hybrid GEM, and
coming soon, a commuter vehicle which is in its final testing phase.
