SB 210 (2007) - Kehoe
SB 210 requires that the Air Resources Board adopt, implement, and enforce a low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS) for transportation fuels in California on or before January 1, 2010. The LCFS is to be technologically feasible and cost effective for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. If enacted, this bill will further codify and make law Governor Schwarzenegger's Executive Order that "calls for a statewide goal to reduce the carbon intensity of California's transportation fuels."
